Preview: Atlanta Dream (May 31, 2019)
After a loss in Minneapolis, the Storm looks to climb back above .500 on Friday against the Atlanta Dream in the first of back-to-back road games.

LAST TIME OUT
The Storm couldn’t overcome a cold first quarter on Wednesday, falling on the road to the Minnesota Lynx, 72-61.
Natasha Howard had another strong showing, leading the Storm in scoring with 18 points on 8-for-15 shooting.
Making her WNBA debut, Storm 2019 second-round draft pick Anriel Howard notched her first bucket with a late three-pointer in the fourth quarter.
Lynx guard Odyssy Sims led her new team with 15 points and five assists while Sylvia Fowles contributed 13 rebounds. Napheesa Collier , coming off a 27-point performance, was held to nine points, all of which came in the first quarter.
SERIES HISTORY
The Atlanta Dream holds a 13-12 advantage all-time over Seattle as the Storm lost the 2018 season series, 2-1.
The Storm won the first ever series against the Dream in 2008, followed by another series win in 2010. The Storm would go on to defeat the Dream in 2010 to win its second WNBA championship.
Sue Bird made her 500th career start against the Dream last season, surpassing DeLisha Milton-Jones’ previous record (499) for most games played in WNBA history.
SCOUTING ATLANTA
After winning two of three preseason games, the Dream and 2018 WNBA Coach of the Year Nicki Collen got the win against the Dallas Wings in its home opener (76-72).
Dream forward Jessica Breland led the team in scoring with 17 points, including the go-ahead three-point play in the last 2 minutes of the fourth. Renee Montgomery and Brittney Sykes combined for a total of 25 points, seven assists, and six rebounds.
Five-time WNBA All-Star Angel McCoughtry remains on the bench since sustaining a knee injury last season.

Before returning home, the Storm will travel to the Wintrust Arena to take on the Chicago Sky tomorrow at 5 p.m. PT.
On Tuesday, the defending champions will host the Minnesota Lynx at 7 p.m. at Angel of the Winds Arena in Everett, Wash.
