The No. 1 Seattle Storm looks to remain perfect in games following losses this season, as it takes on the Indiana Fever on Tuesday, July 24. Tip-off is set for 4 p.m./PT.

LAST TIME OUT
Seattle dropped it last contest to the Atlanta Dream, 87-74, marking the first time Seattle has lost to any team more than once this season.

A scoring drought from the Storm late in the second quarter allowed the Dream to take a 13-point lead into half. Seattle got within eight in the third period before Atlanta went on another run to regain a double-digit lead and put the game out of reach for the Storm.

Storm veteran Sue Bird played in her 500th-career game, breaking DeLisha Milton-Jones’ previous record (499) for the most games played in WNBA history.

Breanna Stewart posted 31 points for Seattle in the loss, connecting on a career-high tying 13 made field goals as well as marking her third 30-plus point game in the last four contests.

 
SERIES HISTORY
Seattle is 18-19 all-time against the Fever, with the Storm winning the first matchup this season, 72-63, on June 22 at KeyArena.

The Storm is 4-14 all-time when playing Indiana on the road. The last time Seattle won in Indiana was June 12, 2016, when the Storm defeated the Fever, 90-88.

Seattle will play Indiana one more time this season at Bankers Life Fieldhouse on Aug. 7.

 
SCOUTING INDIANA
Indiana is 3-22 on the season, currently at the bottom of league standings.

The Fever fell to the Las Vegas Aces, 88-74, in its last contest. Natalie Ochanwa led the way for Indiana with 21 points and seven rebounds in the losing effort.

Indiana is led on the season by Candice Dupree, who is averaging 13.5 points and 6.4 rebounds per contest.

This marks the final game before the WNBA All-Star break for Seattle. The Storm will be back in action on July 31 against the Phoenix Mercury at Talking Stick Resort Arena.
