SEATTLE — The Seattle Storm announced its theme nights for the five remaining home games of the season today. Storm fans can be a part of numerous special events including two t-shirt giveaways to the first 2,000 fans at the games on August 27 and September 17.

On August 27, the Storm hosts a 2020 Tokyo Olympics Celebration and Commissioner’s Cup Celebration, honoring its Olympians and celebrating the team’s Commissioner’s Cup Championship on Aug. 12. Fans can see and take pictures with the Commissioner’s Cup trophy along with the Storm’s four WNBA Championship trophies on the concourse.

During the game, representatives from Symetra and Bank of America and Storm Director of Community Engagement, Crystal Langhorne, will present a $100,000 check to the Urban League of Metropolitan Seattle, collected during the Kicks for Equality auction.

On August 29, the Storm hosts Believe in Women Night presented by Symetra, a long-standing tradition dating back to 2006 honoring outstanding women who are active members of the Puget Sound community and leaders in their industry. This year’s honorees will be recognized at halftime by Symetra executives, Crystal Langhorne, Storm CEO and President Alisha Valavanis, and Storm co-owner Dawn Trudeau.

The Storm celebrates the 25th anniversary of the WNBA on September 2, featuring numerous special events including honoring alumni in attendance. Fans are encouraged to wear orange and the first 2,000 fans in attendance receive special edition orange light sticks.

On September 7, the Storm tip-off a Toy Drive presented by Denali Advanced Integration and supported by Aetna benefiting Seattle Children’s Hospital, encouraging fans to bring toys and gifts to a donation box at the arena in what has become an annual tradition.

The Storm finish the regular season with its annual Fan Appreciation Night, on September 17, where fans have the chance to win incredible prizes and special giveaways to thank them for their continued loyalty and support.
