SEATTLE – The Seattle Storm today announced that Angel Robinson’s commitment to the Montenegro National Team will force her to miss time with the Storm during the start of the 2015 WNBA season. Robinson is competing for a spot with the Montenegrin National Team at EuroBasket Women 2015, which will be held in Hungary and Romania June 11-28, 2015.
The 6-5 center is coming off a strong overseas season, averaging 13.4 points and 10.3 rebounds in 16 EuroLeague games. Robinson, who would be entering her second season in the WNBA, averaged 2.2 points and 1.4 rebounds in 25 games last season with Seattle.
