The No. 1 Seattle Storm returns to KeyArena after five games on the road to take on the defending champion Minnesota Lynx on Friday, with tip-off set for 7 p.m.PT.

LAST TIME OUT
Seattle secured its first 20-win season since 2011 after defeating the Phoenix Mercury, 102-91, in its last time out on July 31.
The Storm went on a 9-2 run at the end of the second quarter to take a nine-point lead into half. In the third, Seattle kept it rolling on the offensive end and extended its lead at one point to 23 points, putting the game out of reach.
Jewell Loyd tied a season-high with 29 points and tied a career-high with five triples.
Natasha Howard secured her fourth double-double of the season with 15 points and 10 rebounds.
SERIES HISTORY
The Lynx own a 38-29 all-time advantage over the Storm, with Minnesota winning the first matchup this season, 91-79, back on June 26.
The Storm won its last home matchup vs. Minnesota last season on Aug. 16, 2017, by way of a 62-61 margin. Crystal Langhorne led the way in that game with 14 points, including the go-ahead basket in the final seconds.
Seattle will battle Minnesota one more time this season. The series finale will be played at the Target Center on August 12.
SCOUTING MINNESOTA
The Lynx are currently sitting at 15-10 on the season and will battle the Los Angeles Sparks tonight at 7 p.m. PT at the STAPLES Center.
Minnesota is led by a slew of All-Stars on the year. Maya Moore leads the Lynx at 18.2 points per contest this season. Slyvia Fowles averages 17.1 points along with 11.7 rebounds and Seimone Augustus posts 10.8 points per game as well.
