Coming off a vibrant win against the Atlanta Dream, the Storm approaches its second game in two days, taking on the Chicago Sky on the road.

LAST TIME OUT

Seattle is heading into its second consecutive road game after handing the Atlanta Dream a 16-point loss on Friday night. Although the Storm got off to a slow start in the first quarter, Seattle was able shift the momentum and build a 20-point lead.

Five Storm players finished the night scoring double-digits, including Natasha Howard, who notched her second double-double of the season with 18 points and 14 rebounds. Returning from a championship run overseas, Alysha Clark checked in for her first game of the 2019 season with 11 points and five rebounds.

Seattle was able to come out on top despite a strong showing from Dream forward Monique Billings, who contributed with a career-high eight rebounds and nine points and guard Brittney Sykes who led the Dream with 12 points.

SERIES HISTORY

The Storm holds an 18-11 record against Chicago, which includes an 8-6 record on the road. Last season, the Storm secured a fifth season sweep against the Sky, winning all three contests.

SCOUTING CHICAGO

Chicago fell to the Minnesota Lynx in its first road game last week, 89-71.

Chicago guards Gabby Williams and Kahleah Copper paced the Sky in scoring, netting 11 points each. Copper made a late layup to help the Sky go on an 11-4 run after conceding a 27-point Lynx lead in the fourth quarter.

Allie Quigley, who was recently voted the best pure shooter by WNBA GMs, finished the night with 10 points on 4-of-9 shooting. Meanwhile, Stefanie Dolson was strong against the glass grabbing seven rebounds and six points.

UP NEXT

The Storm returns home to the Angel of the Winds Arena in Everett Wash., to host the Minnesota Lynx on Tuesday, June 4 at 7 p.m. PT. The Storm will return to Chicago, Sunday June 9 at 3 p.m. PT. as it embarks on a week long road-game series.
