The No. 1 Seattle Storm returns to the hardwood to take on the Indiana Fever at Bankers Life Fieldhouse on Tuesday, with tip-off set for 4 p.m./PT.

LAST TIME OUT
The Storm used a 22-2 run in the fourth period to defeat the New York Liberty in its last matchup by a final margin of 96-80.

Breanna Stewart led the way for Seattle with 32 points, nine rebounds and five assists.

Natasha Howard tallied her fifth double-double of the season with 14 points and 10 rebounds while also adding five steals (tied career-high) and five blocks (tied season-high).

 
SERIES HISTORY
Seattle is now 19-19 all-time against the Fever after winning the first two contests this season. The Storm defeated the Fever 72-63 on June 22, and then won 92-71 back on July 24.

The Storm is 5-14 all-time when playing the Fever on the road. Seattle won the last contest at Indiana 92-71 back on July 24. Before that game, the Storm hadn’t won at Bankers Life Fieldhouse since June 12, 2016, where the Storm defeated the Fever 90-88.

Seattle’s two wins over Indiana last season marked the first time the Storm had defeated the Fever twice in a season since the 2008 campaign, as well as the first time they swept the Fever at KeyArena in franchise history.

The Storm is aiming for its fifth ever season series sweep over the Fever in franchise history. Seattle also swept Indiana in 2008 (2-0), 2004 (2-0), 2002, (1-0) and 2001 (1-0).

 
SCOUTING INDIANA
Indiana is 5-23 on the season, currently sitting at the bottom of league standings.

The Fever defeated the New York Liberty in its last matchup back on Aug. 4 by a final margin of 68-55. Indiana held New York to just two points in the final period of that game.

Candice Dupree is currently leading the Fever on the season at 13.9 points and 6.5 rebounds per contest.
