Force 10 3×3 becomes first privately-owned team in the U.S.A. to enter FIBA 3×3 Women’s Series

Teams can earn up to $10,000 by competing in the tournament

SEATTLE — Force 10 Sports Management today announced that Force 10 3×3, its 3×3 basketball division, has received a wild card from the Alberta Basketball Association to enter a team in the Edmonton stop of the FIBA Women’s Series on July 29-30, in Canada. Force 10, which is now the first privately-owned team in the Americas to compete in the Women’s Series, will be represented by Blake Dietrick, Alexis Peterson, Kat Westbeld, Merritt Hempe.

In addition, four Force 10 players will participate in the event with other teams, increasing the program’s representation in Edmonton to eight. Linnae Harper and Breanna Richardson were named to the USA roster, while Camille Zimmerman and Natalie Kucowski pledged to dress for EXE Wing (Japan). That number is a result of a long-standing commitment to the development of 3×3 in the country and a recently announced partnership with Japanese pro sports league 3×3.EXE PREMIER.

“Growing the women’s 3×3 game both nationally and internationally has been the top priority for Force 10. FIBA 3×3 Women’s Series is the FIBA 3×3 competition dedicated to women, offering athletes a chance to play at the highest level on a regular basis while earning FIBA points and up to $10,000 in prize money. Of the 11 stops scheduled for 2022, four have already taken place, including two showcasing Force 10 talent. The grand final is set for September 17-18 and will feature the 12 best ranked teams in the circuit.
