Jasmine Thomas
Even before the Storm drafted Jasmine Thomas in the first round of the 2011 WNBA Draft, she was no stranger to working in the WNBA. Thomas spent the summer before her senior year interning in marketing for the Washington Mystics. The ACC's Scholar Athlete of the Year at Duke, Thomas likely won't have to put that experience to use for a while. Her well-rounded game should allow Thomas to carve out a WNBA career, starting in a backup role for the Storm. A talented recruit, Thomas was named MVP of the McDonald's All-America Game during high school before leading the Blue Devils to a pair of ACC Tournament championships, winning MVP honors both times.
