Seattle waives Reshanda Gray

SEATTLE — The Seattle Storm announced today the team has waived forward Reshanda Gray.

The 6-2 forward appeared in 11 games for Seattle in 2022, averaging 2.5 points and 2.2 rebounds in 7.8 minutes per game. She scored a season-high eight points at Phoenix on May 11 and tallied seven points and a season-best five rebounds vs New York on May 29.

Gray, a former second-round pick (16th overall) in the 2015 WNBA Draft, has played in 125 career games over her six seasons in the WNBA, averaging 4.1 points and 3.3 rebounds per game. Her best season scoring average came last season with New York where she scored 5.9 points per game.

Gray was a two-time All-Pac-12 First-Team selection at Cal including being named Pac-12 Player of the Year in 2014-15. Over her final two seasons at Berkley, she averaged 17.5 points and 8.0 rebounds per contest.
