Seattle Storm Signs Tiffany Bias

Third-Year Guard Won 2014 WNBA Title With Phoenix

SEATTLE – The Seattle Storm today announced that Tiffany Bias has signed with the franchise.

After being selected 17th overall by Phoenix in the 2014 WNBA Draft, Bias appeared in 32 regular-season games and six playoff games in two years with the Mercury, averaging 1.4 points in 5.1 minutes per game. She won the WNBA title as a rookie, playing in four of Phoenix’s 2014 playoff games. The 5-8 guard was waived by the Mercury last week after playing in the team’s first preseason game at Seattle.

A native of Wichita, Kan., Bias attended Oklahoma State University and guided the Cowgirls to a pair of NCAA Tournament appearances. She finished her career with the third most assists in Big 12 Conference history, including a school-record 229 assists as a sophomore. Bias was a two-time AP All-America honorable mention at Oklahoma State and a Nancy Lieberman Award finalist in 2013-14.
