Seattle Storm Kids Day supported by Seattle Children’s and Delta Dental returns on July 12

Families are encouraged to join on fun activities to kick off summer break in the city

SEATTLE — The Seattle Storm announced today the return of Kids Day supported by Seattle Children’s and Delta Dental on July 12, featuring a family-friendly Noon tip off against the Dallas Wings and activities for kids and families on the plaza outside Climate Pledge Arena prior to the game.

“Kids Day is always a fun time for everyone in the Storm community. We’re happy to provide a safe space with fun and entertainment for kids and families to hang out as summer break kicks off in the city,” said Kyle Waters, Storm SVP of Ticket Sales and Service. “We look forward to seeing the smiles on the kid’s faces as they have fun around Climate Pledge Arena’s plaza on Kids Day.”

This year marks the return of Kids Day, an annual Storm tradition last held in 2019. Kids Day activities begin at 10 a.m. and include inflatable bounce houses for kids along with hands-on activities provided by Pacific Science Center educators.

Delta Dental’s official mascot Fairy Tooth will be at the plaza providing tips on dental hygiene and exchanging lost teeth for treasures as part of their Original Tooth Fairy Poll®, an initiative established in 1998 that compares the value of a kid’s lost tooth to the stock market in order to promote fun conversations around oral care between parents and children.

To cap off Kids’ Day activities, Pacific Science Center is slated to present a scale model of the solar system during halftime to guarantee entertainment for the young ones and the whole family.

Tickets for the July 12 matinee game versus the Dallas Wings and the other four remaining Storm home games are still available. For more information visit http://stormbasketball.com or call 206-217-WNBA (9622)
