Intentionalist

Intentionalist is an online guide to intentional spending that helps consumers find local restaurants, bars, gyms, shops, and more owned by women, people of color, veterans, LGBTQ, families, and disabled people.

Each Black History Month, Women's History Month, AANHPI Heritage Month, Pride Month, and Latin American Heritage Month, the Storm partners with our fellow Seattle Sports teams to support local businesses from these communities. For the entire month, Seattle sports fans can upload their receipts from local businesses and enter to win prize packs from their favorite teams. For the final ten days of the month, the Storm covers a 20% discount on gift certificates and products from businesses featured in Intentionalist's marketplace.

The Storm has also partner with Intentionalist to highlight diverse businesses in the Puget Sound Area

The Storm selected Pro-Choice Washington, and organization with the mission statement: Every person deserves equitable access to affordable, unbiased, quality abortion and reproductive healthcare within their community. For each Commissioner's cup win, the WNBA and Storm Foundation teamed up to donate $3,000 to Pro-Choice Washington for every win and $1,000 for every loss.

Pride Merch line

For the past three seasons, the Storm have celebrated Pride with a merch item dedicated to supporting trans youth in our community.

This year's item was a gray tee with "trans rights are human rights" in a repeated pattern on the front and "protect trans youth" outlined on the back, both in the pink, blue, and white colors of the trans pride flag.

100% of the proceeds from sales of this shirt support Seattle Storm Foundation Force4Change efforts to positively impact trans youth in the Seattle area.
