Dance Troupe Auditions

We’d like to invite energetic and experienced dancers of all genres between the ages of 12-17 to audition for the 2025 Storm Dance Troupe! As a member, you will perform at various special events and at all Seattle Storm home games.   

Practices will take place on Sunday afternoons in Seattle. Members of the Seattle Storm Dance Troupe must be able to perform at all Storm games. Please check the practice and game schedule for more details. Call time is typically two hours before tipoff on game days.  

Seattle Storm Dance Troupe is a paid, professional dance job, and all Dance Troupe members and their parents will sign an accountability contract, committing to the 2025 Practice and Game Schedule. If you have scheduling conflicts with more than 3 dates on the calendar, we ask that you please do not audition in the case that you would possibly take the spot of someone with full availability. 

Audition details   

Date: Sunday, April 27th   

Time: 8:00 am- 3:00pm  

Location: Seattle Pacific University lower gymnasium located within the Royal Brougham Pavilion.  

Parking: Street and SPU guest parking 

Must bring to auditions: Physical copy of dancer headshot, athletic shoes, Dry snacks and water 

Timeline 

8:00 AM – Registration Opens  

8:45 AM – Parent and Dancer Meeting (required for all parents) 

9:00 AM – 10:30 AM – First Round  

10:30 AM – 11:00 AM – Break  

11:00 AM – 12:30 PM – Learn Final Routine  

12:30 PM – 1:30 PM – Final Tryouts  

2:00 PM – Team Announcement  

2:15 PM – Parent and Dancer Meeting (for selected team members only)   audition in the case that you would possibly take the spot of someone who would be more committed.
