Dominique Malonga's stellar sophomore season

Dominique Malonga stepped up her game in 2026, leading the Storm in scoring and rebounding. She averaged 17.7 points and 8.8 rebounds per game, a significant jump from her 7.7 points and 4.6 rebounds per game in 2025, the largest stat increases in the WNBA from 2025 to 2026.

Her production earned her All-Star honors for the first time in her career, and she made a splash in Chicago, becoming the youngest player to dunk and to record a double-double in a WNBA All-Star game.

Only 20 years old, Dom was also the youngest player to reach 900 points and 500 rebounds in WNBA history, and the youngest to score 30 points in a game (regular season or playoffs) with 37 vs. Dallas on June 22.
