Storm Launches ‘Protect Our House’ Campaign Ahead of Upcoming Five-Game Homestand

With a 6-2 record and ranked #2 in the WNBA, Seattle is gearing up for pivotal five-game home stand featuring theme nights and ticket discounts for fans

SEATTLE – The Seattle Storm has unveiled its ‘Protect Our House’ marketing campaign ahead of the team’s pivotal five-game home stretch, spanning June 10-22 at KeyArena, and the team’s ESPN2 showdown with the 2017 WNBA Champion Los Angeles Sparks on June 28 at 6pm at KeyArena. The campaign will feature ticket deals and special theme nights and promotions throughout the month. Tickets are available here.

Seattle is 6-2 on the season, currently atop the western conference standings. The Storm took down the Los Angeles Sparks 88-63 on the road in its last game, marking the first Seattle win at STAPLES Center since 2015. All-Star forward Breanna Stewart picked up right where she left off last season, posting averages of 21.5 points, 8.1 rebounds and 3.0 assists through eight games this season.

The ‘Protect Our House’ five-game home stand kicks off with the Storm hosting the Atlanta Dream on June 10, followed by the Chicago Sky on June 12, the Connecticut Sun on June 15, the Las Vegas Aces on June 19, and on June 22 against the Indiana Fever.

 

ATLANTA DREAM – June 10, 4:00 p.m./PT – Paws in the Paint

Sundays game vs. the Dream will be the first-ever “Paws in the Paint” game, where fans will be able to bring their canine companion to the game. Special dog/owner ticket packages will be available for $25 dollars. Fans are encouraged to visit the ‘Doggapalooza’ area just outside the South West corner of the concourse of KeyArena, where there will be giveaways and promotions from Urban Animal, Lagunitas Brewing Company and K9 Natural.

 

CHICAGO SKY – June 12, 7 p.m. – Kent native Courtney Vandersloot Returns to Seattle

Kent native and Gonzaga graduate Courtney Vandersloot will be making her first appearance in Seattle this season as the Storm host the Sky on Tuesday, June 12. Seattle will be looking to improve to 2-0 against the Sky at home this season. In the first meeting, the Storm came back to defeat the Sky in overtime 95-91 after being down 14 points in the fourth quarter.

 

CONNECTICUT SUN – June 15, 7 p.m. – Jewell Loyd Bobblehead Giveaway and Dads and Daughters Night

Fans are invited to celebrate Dads and Daughters with the Storm before Fathers Day, on Friday, June 15. against Alyssa Thomas and the Connecticut Sun. The first 3,000 fans that enter KeyArena will receive a Jewell Loyd bobblehead.

 

LAS VEGAS ACES – June 19, 7 p.m. – UW graduate Kelsey Plum Returns to Seattle

Seattle has teamed up with Essential Water to give fans a chance to enter to win an incredible gameday experience.
