Six Seattle Storm Games To Re-Air On Root Sports

SEATTLE – The Seattle Storm today announced a partnership with ROOT SPORTS to air six games on tape delay across a five-state region spanning Alaska, Montana, Oregon, Washington and portions of Idaho.

Seattle’s July 12 matchup vs. the Atlanta Dream will be the first of six Storm games to re-air on ROOT SPORTS. Other games include matchups against the Dallas Wings, New York Liberty, Indiana Fever, Las Vegas Aces, and Minnesota Lynx. Each game will re-air twice on ROOT SPORTS.

ROOT SPORTS is home to several Pacific Northwest professional teams including the Seattle Mariners and the Portland Timbers. The network delivers more than 350 live events each year across a five-state footprint. This is the second straight year the Storm has teamed up with ROOT SPORTS to re-air games, following a nine-game slate from the 2019 season.

The Storm’s 22-game shortened 2020 schedule features 16 nationally broadcast games across ABC (4), ESPN (2), ESPN2 (4), and CBS Sports Network (6), while the remaining six are being broadcast locally on JOEtv (KZJO Ch. 22, Cable 110).
