Teddy Bears to be Donated to Seattle-Area Firefighters for Children in Emergency Situation
SEATTLE – The Seattle Storm has announced the continuation of a proud tradition: The Teddy Bear Toss.
A charity event, the Teddy Bear Toss is a part of the Teddy Bear Patrol campaign, which provides bears to local police, firefighters, and hospital workers for children in emergency situations.
It’s both a good cause and fun for the fans—whoever brings a teddy bear to the Storm vs. Stars game on Sept. 13 will have the opportunity to throw their bears onto the court during the annual “Teddy Bear Toss” at halftime.
The Storm will be selling bears at the team shop on the concourse for $8 for fans to purchase. Additionally, most items in the Storm Team Shop will be 15% off.
