Seattle Storm To Celebrate Fan Appreciation Night Supported By Anthony’s Restaurants

Storm regular-season home finale set for Sunday, Sept. 1 at Alaska Airlines Arena

SEATTLE – The Seattle Storm will show appreciation for the season-long support of its fans during the team’s regular-season home finale on Sunday, Sept. 1 against the Atlanta Dream. Fan Appreciation Night supported by Anthony’s Restaurants will feature special entertainment and giveaways thanking fans for their unwavering support during the Storm’s temporary relocation due to Seattle Center Arena renovations.

Beginning two hours before tip-off, the Anthony’s Restaurants food truck will be parked on the University of Washington’s Southwest Plaza, joining the Summer Fun Zone presented by Skinny Dipped Almonds and hosted by National Event Pros. In addition to games, music, face painting and inflatables, fans will be treated to complimentary sample cups of chowder from Anthony’s Restaurants.

The first 3,000 fans in attendance will also receive a t-shirt courtesy of Carter Subaru, the Official Auto Partner of the Seattle Storm. In May, the longtime partner extended home court naming rights during the team’s temporary relocation to Angel of the Winds Arena in Everett, Wash., and Alaska Airlines Arena at the University of Washington.

“We are so thankful for the support of the fans who have followed us to our new homes,” said Storm CEO and GM Alisha Valavanis. “Fan Appreciation Night is an opportunity to give special thanks to our loyal fans who light up the arena and bring the energy to every game.”

Leading up to the game, fans will have the opportunity to vote on this season’s best moments by following along on the Storm’s Instagram (@seattlestorm). Fans can also vote for the best episode from Season 3 of “Between 2 Birds.”
