Seattle Storm Partners with Seattle-Based Production Company Through 2018 Season

SEATTLE – The Seattle Storm today announced it has extended its partnership with 3 Point Productions (3ptproductions.com), a Seattle-based sports and live entertainment production company through 2018. 3 Point Productions (3 Point) will continue to assist the Storm in providing a world-class game entertainment experience for one of the most passionate fan bases in the WNBA.

“Extending our long-standing relationship with 3 Point Productions is a win for the Storm. 3 Point is an industry leader in creating the very best in-arena fan experience,” said Storm President & GM Alisha Valavanis. “The opportunity to work with a creative team led by Pat Walker and Matt Heuer is what makes this partnership so strong.”

3 Point has worked closely with the Storm’s game day and marketing teams over the last several years. At the Storm’s home opener on May 14, 3 Point debuted ‘Marty’, a fake news reporter who attempted to debunk the WNBA Logo Woman mystery with “Sue Blurred”, a fake news report involving Sue Bird’s iconic ponytail. Extremely popular with the Storm fan base, 3 Point has developed similar signature entertainment pieces over the last several seasons including 2015’s “Between Two Birds” parody and 2016’s player Lip Sync Battle.

“The Storm is one of our favorite partners to work with because they recognize the importance of energizing the fan base through creative entertainment as a way to support the team’s success on the floor,” said Patrick Walker, President of 3 Point Productions. “Building on this partnership, we look forward to creating new memories for fans utilizing the energy and passion that makes KeyArena the WNBA’s strongest home court advantage.”

For 16 seasons, 3 Point’s senior management has been involved with the Seattle Storm brand and developing the fan experience, including overseeing game presentation during the team’s 2004 and 2010 championship seasons. Through the extended partnership, 3 Point will continue develop creative as well as produce the game-night experience for Storm fans focusing on fan engagement by utilizing a highly interactive style.
