The No. 1 Seattle Storm will aim for another series sweep as it takes on the Connecticut Sun on Friday at Mohegan Sun Arena, with tip-off set for 4 p.m./PT.

LAST TIME OUTIn its last game against Chicago, Seattle went on 19-4 run to close out the first half to take a 17-point cushion into the break. The Storm didn’t let up in the second, at one point extending the lead to 20 points, ultimately leading to the fifth series sweep over the Sky in franchise history.
Jewell Loyd just missed a triple-double, tallying 20 points, 10 assists and eight rebounds.
Breanna Stewart put in 30-plus points for the second-straight game to go along with nine rebounds, becoming the second player in franchise history (Lauren Jackson) to register back-to-back 30-plus point games.
SERIES HISTORY
Connecticut holds a 21-15 all time advantage over Seattle, with the Storm winning the first two matchups of the season at KeyArena.
The Storm has lost five-straight road games to the Sun. The last time Seattle won in Connecticut was on June 17, 2013, when the Storm won 78-66.
If the Storm wins, it will mark the fourth season sweep against the Sun in franchise history. Seattle swept Connecticut in 2013 and 2003, as well as the 2002 season when the franchise was located in Orlando.
SCOUTING CONNECTICUT
Connecticut is 12-11 on the season, currently sitting with the No. 8 record in the WNBA.
The Sun dropped its last game against the Dream 86-83 off of a half-court buzzer beater from Tiffany Hayes. Jonquel Jones led the way for the Sun in that game with 19 points and seven rebounds.
Chiney Ogwumike is leading Connecticut on the season, posting 14.8 points and 7.5 rebounds per contest.
