SEATTLE STORM ANNOUNCES 2013 SCHEDULE
Ten weekend contests highlight regular season slate

SEATTLE - The Seattle Storm will host rival Phoenix, owner of the next No. 1 draft pick, in its 2013 home opener, Sunday, June 2 at KeyArena. Seattle officially begins the 2013 campaign on the road, May 26 against the Los Angeles Sparks. The 2013 schedule, announced by the WNBA Wednesday, features four games each versus the Mercury and the Sparks.
The 2013 season will feature an array of entertaining theme nights and giveaways at KeyArena. For starters, the first 3,000 fans in the door on Opening Night will receive a Storm T-shirt. Fans can round out their collection with a mini-basketball on Youth Sports Night July 20 versus the Sparks and with free Storm sunglasses Aug. 17 versus the Fever and 2012 Finals MVP Tamika Catchings.
Dads and Daughters are invited to spend a Friday evening together at the annual gathering June 7 versus the Tulsa Shock.
The Storm will meet the 2012 WNBA champion Indiana Fever for the first time on the road, June 30. The teams face off at KeyArena August 17. Back-to-back home games against Western Conference foe Minnesota are set for Sept. 7 and 10.
Nationally televised games featuring the Storm will be announced at a later date. The local broadcast schedule will also be released prior to the season.
