Seattle Storm’s Annual Fan Road Trip Headed to Las Vegas

Trip details include dinner with Storm players and ‘chalk talk’ with head coach Dan Hughes

SEATTLE – Fans are invited to witness a historical moment in the WNBA, as the Seattle Storm’s 2018 Fan Road Trip will take place in Las Vegas as part of the Aces’ home opener on May 27.

“Seattle Storm fans provide an unparalleled home-court advantage that we are excited to bring on the road to Las Vegas,” said Storm President & GM Alisha Valavanis. “This trip is special in that our Storm fans will join Las Vegas in welcoming the Aces to their new home.”

This year’s road trip is unique for several reasons. Not only does it include a meet-and-greet dinner with the team and 30-minute ‘chalk talk’ with both Valavanis and head coach Dan Hughes on May 26, but it also features the Aces’ home debut on May 27 at the Mandalay Bay Events Center. Fans will receive one ticket to Seattle’s game at Las Vegas and an exclusive 2018 Storm Fan Road Trip t-shirt, which will be revealed closer to the game on Storm social media platforms.

The matchup, which features former University of Washington standout Kelsey Plum and the league’s No. 1 overall draft pick, is set to tipoff at 5 p.m. PT. Fans can sign up for the 2018 Fan Road Trip by visiting StormBasketball.com.
