General Public On-Sale Starts Today at 10 a.m.
SEATTLE – The Seattle Storm today announced 2017 single-game ticket information. The general public can secure seats starting at 10 a.m., and those who wish to purchase can do so by visiting StormBasketball.com or by clicking here.
Celebrate Mother’s Day with the Storm on Opening Night presented by Swedish on May 14 when the team welcomes Indiana to KeyArena at 4 p.m. PDT. The first 3,000 fans in attendance will receive a free Storm t-shirt, which will be revealed on the team’s Facebook page leading up to the game.
Seattle is coming off a playoff appearance in 2016, and will welcome back 2016 Rookie of the Year Breanna Stewart, 2015 WNBA Rookie of the Year Jewell Loyd and 2016 All-WNBA First Team selection Sue Bird. The team will welcome Maya Moore and the Minnesota Lynx to the Pacific Northwest on Saturday, June 3. Fans are invited to celebrate Father’s Day with the Storm, Sunday, June 18 at 4 p.m. against San Antonio, who currently holds the number one pick in the 2017 WNBA Draft. Diana Taurasi, Brittney Griner and the Phoenix Mercury come to Seattle as the team tips off Seattle Pride weekend on Friday, June 24 at 7 p.m. PT.
Seattle will again host the ‘Summer Fun Zone’ on the West Plaza two hours prior to every Saturday and Sunday game. The ‘Summer Fun Zone’ is free and open to the public, and will feature face painters, music, inflatables and other outdoor activities for kids.
The 2017 WNBA Draft presented by State Farm will be held tonight at Samsung 837 in New York City. ESPN2 will provide coverage and analysis of the first round beginning at 7 p.m. ET, and ESPNU will air coverage of the second and third rounds starting at 8 p.m.
The WNBA has selected Seattle as the host city for Verizon WNBA All-Star 2017 for the first time in franchise history, a move that celebrates the city’s vibrant fan base and recognizes Seattle’s passion and support for women’s basketball. The game will feature the 24 top professional women’s basketball players in the world during the league’s midseason marquee event.
