SEATTLE – The Seattle Storm today announced a partnership with Bloodworks Northwest as the presenting sponsor of a seasonal Happy Hour Pint for Pint promotion: fans who donate blood can receive two free Storm tickets and a free beer voucher.

“The Pint for a Pint blood donation campaign is a fun, engaging way for Storm fans to give back to the community and enjoy Storm Basketball,” said Storm President & GM Alisha Valavanis. “We are thrilled to continue our partnership with Bloodworks Northwest to serve the region and help save lives.”

The Pint for a Pint promotion runs May 25 – Aug. 15 at all Bloodworks Donor Centers in Washington. After donating, fans will receive a confirmation email, including a link to claim their tickets. For a list of Washington donor centers visit www.bloodworksnw.org.

“We are very proud to partner with the Storm; the great team, their amazing fans and their deep commitment to engaging, empowering, including and educating everyone in our community,” said James P AuBuchon, MD, president and CEO of Bloodworks. “Our mission and values are in perfect harmony. Like the Storm, we partner with our community every day: to serve patients and families, save lives, and advance research to diagnose and treat the most challenging diseases threating human health.”

At a special kick-off blood drive on May 25, the first 50 donors will receive an autographed Sue Bird bobblehead. The drive takes place 11 a.m. – 5 p.m. PDT (closed between 1-2 p.m.).
